Day 18-Tea Lover-NaPoWriMo with Magaly Guerrero 2015

Today's prompt was to write a sensual poem dedicated to coffee or tea or both.

Tea Love

You leave me quenched,
after I apply the heat.
Keeping you waiting
makes you stronger
in your desire
to please.
I prefer your ardour
cooled,
but I will take you
any way
I can get you,
any day, any season.
Iced tea is my drink, all day and as the poem says, any season. I have consumed a lot of it, many brands, and Luzianne is the best for iced tea. My dad liked it so sweet it was like drinking dessert, so does my son-in-law. I drink it straight!

  3. Iced Tea is the official drink down here--I had never had it till I came to Oklahoma(not a big drink in Chicago ;_) ) I do enjoy it a lot, but not as much--obviously!!!- as you do. This is quite a neat little poem, by the by--sneakily good in structure and phrase. Lots of fun, Sharon.

    1. Then you know all about Luzianne! My first 12 years were lived in Texas. I think my mom must have put it in my bottle! Lol
Thank you for the nice words!
