Day 7- The Dreamer and the Warrior-NaPoWriMo with Magaly Guerrero 2015

Conjure a poem about a myth!

The Dreamer and the Warrior

Morpheus, you rotten lover,
I said no to your suggestion
to "bring along a friend."
You seduced me, anyway.
Then left me with an itch
I could not scratch away.
They say you are returning,
and the offer still stands.
This time, I won't say no,
can't say no.
So, you and the Warrior Benadryl
come on over...
Well, hello, Lovers...

  3. The itch I cannot scratch. Yep, that's morphine for ya. I remember that feeling. It took away the pain well enough, but I hated it. Yucky stuff.

    1. Thank you, Gina! I think I am just stubborn and I had just written that poem with the goals. One of them was not to miss a day of poetry!
